It is a cosmetic support system, not a prescription medication, and it does not replace one.
That distinction matters. A topical used at home is supportive by design: it keeps the scalp clean, comfortable and nourished so everything else you are doing has a fair chance to work. It is not a regrowth guarantee. What a daily system does well is consistency, and consistency is where most hair plans quietly fall apart.

Reduced shedding tends to follow around weeks four to eight. Density and texture take months: typically eight to twelve weeks before anything is visible, closer to six before the picture is clear.

Is DE|RIVE a treatment or a product I use at home?
Both, in different forms. The DE|RIVE serum is infused into the scalp during an in-clinic AquaFirme session, and the Daily Hair Support System is the at-home line you use between visits. Most patients do best with the two together: the session prepares the scalp, the routine holds it.
Will it regrow hair on a bald area?
No. On a smooth area where follicles are no longer producing hair, a topical support system has nothing to support. It is best used where fine hairs are still visible and the goal is a healthier scalp and protection of the hair you have. We will say so plainly at your assessment.
Can I use it alongside minoxidil or a prescription?
Usually yes, and many patients do. Bring a list of what you already use, including prescriptions, supplements and over the counter topicals, so your provider can sequence them safely instead of stacking everything at once. Never stop a prescribed medication on your own for a cosmetic product.
How long should I use it before deciding?
Give it a full hair cycle, roughly six months of daily use. Judging a routine at week three is the most common reason people abandon something that was on track. Photographs at consistent intervals beat memory every time.
